Managed IT and security

One team for your Microsoft 365 tenant, iPads and Macs, Teams Phone and security monitoring.

For Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 135 and 121 operators and Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR) 704 and 705 operators who want one team for Microsoft 365, devices, phones and security.

Many operators run on a phone system nobody owns, iPads set up by whoever was around that day, and a Microsoft tenant that grew by accident. We take that over as part of the same month-to-month engagement, so the people running your IT are the people building your software.

Managed IT from a firm that builds software looks different. The tenant is administered by script, not by clicking, so a change is repeatable and logged. And the people answering the phone are the people who built your crew records system, so they know what the systems do.

Security starts with knowing what you run. If you carry cyber insurance you are attesting to every application in the operation, and most operators cannot name them. We inventory accounts, devices, phone numbers, licences and applications first, then set baselines and watch for identity threats on every sign-in.

What we run

Microsoft 365 tenant moves

Mail, files and accounts moved into one tenant, including domain and sign-in changes after a rebrand, with licences sized to what people use.

Device management

iPads and Macs enrolled in Intune or Jamf, so a lost device can be locked and a new one set up without anyone touching it.

Licensing through ForIT

ForIT is a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) reseller, so Microsoft 365 licences are bought through us, sized to what people use, and moved with the tenant.

Phones on Teams

Legacy phone services replaced with Teams Phone, with call trees, caller ID and call reporting. Text messages to the company number land in a Teams chat, and an AI assistant can answer a published line and hand off to a person.

Security monitoring

Identity threat detection on every sign-in, plus multi-factor authentication (MFA) and phishing baselines across the company.

How AI does the work

Administration by script

Tenant changes, licence moves and device policies run as reviewed scripts through the same tooling we use on our own tenant, with a guard that blocks risky operations, such as a Domain Name System (DNS) change, until a person confirms them.

A service desk that drafts

Tickets come in by email, Teams or phone. AI drafts the reply and the fix from what it knows about your environment, and a person on our desk checks it before it goes out.

Monitoring that speaks up

Identity threat detection watches every sign-in. Backup, sync and scheduled jobs report to one log, and a failure raises an alert rather than waiting to be noticed.

The inventory reconciled

Tenant, device and billing exports rarely agree on what you run. AI matches them into one application inventory and a person checks it, so the list you attest to at insurance renewal is real.

How it works

  • 1We inventory accounts, devices, phone numbers and licences, then move them onto managed services one group at a time.
  • 2We set security baselines and watch for identity threats.
  • 3Your staff call our service desk when something breaks.

Where we have done it

XCEL JET

A Microsoft tenant cutover, an Intune and Jamf device rollout, Dropbox moved to OneDrive, and their old phone service replaced by Teams Phone.

WM Aviation

Jamf device management, identity threat monitoring, and call trees with caller ID and call reporting.

Great North Airlines

Domain, sign-in and SharePoint moved to greatnorthairlines.com as part of the airline's rebrand.

Questions operators ask

What is included?

Microsoft 365 tenant administration and licensing, iPad and Mac management in Intune or Jamf, Teams Phone, identity threat monitoring, multi-factor authentication (MFA) and phishing baselines, and a service desk your staff can call. Month to month.

Which operators do you run this for?

XCEL JET, where we moved the tenant, rolled out Intune and Jamf, moved Dropbox to OneDrive and replaced the phone service with Teams Phone. WM Aviation, with Jamf, identity threat monitoring and call trees. Great North Airlines, whose mail, files, accounts and domain moved to greatnorthairlines.com as part of the rebrand.

Can we buy our Microsoft licences through you?

Yes. ForIT is a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) reseller. Licences are billed through us month to month, sized to what people use, and reassigned as staff join and leave, so the licence count matches the payroll.

Can you take over from our current provider?

Yes. We inventory accounts, devices, phone numbers and licences, then move them onto managed services one group at a time, so nobody loses mail or a phone number on cutover day.

What does your security baseline cover?

Multi-factor authentication and phishing protection across the company, identity threat detection on every sign-in, managed devices that can be locked and set up remotely, and an application inventory you can hand to your insurer.

How is AI used on the service desk?

It drafts the reply and the fix. A person checks both before they go out. An AI-drafted reply is never sent unread, and the AI never changes your tenant on its own.

What are the terms?

Month to month, as part of the same engagement as the rest of our work, so the people running your IT are the people building your software.

Do we need this if we already have someone internal?

Often the internal person is dispatch or finance with IT added on. We take the tenant, devices and phones off their desk, and they keep the local knowledge. The engagement fits around what you already have.
